Calcium hydrogen phosphite has the structural formula: Ca(H2PO3)2.H2O. Its calcium content is greater than 17%. Its CAS number is 21056-98-4. It is completely water-soluble, with a solubility of 5-8g/100ml of water at 20°C. Its solubility in ethanol and other media is unknown. Its pH is acidic. Calcium hydrogen phosphite has antioxidant and bactericidal properties. It is widely used in water-soluble fertilizers, flush fertilizers, rust-proof pigments, and flame retardant plastics.

I. Basic Properties
1. It is typically in the monohydrate form of Ca(H2PO3)2.H2O. It is a colorless, non-toxic, odorless powder soluble in water with a relative density of 2.8. It loses its water of crystallization at 205°C.
2. It can be produced by directly neutralizing phosphorous acid with quicklime calcium oxide (or slaked lime calcium hydroxide) or from waste residues from sodium hypophosphite production. It completely replaces traditional anti-rust pigments such as zinc phosphate, aluminum phosphate, red lead, and barium metaborate.
3. Calcium hydrogen phosphite also offers high hiding power, tinting strength, and flame retardant properties.
II. Product Specifications
Main content ≥ 96%
Moisture ≤ 2.0%
Water-insoluble matter ≤ 0.5%
Heavy metals (Pb) ≤ 50 ppm
pH (10%): 2.0-5.0
III. Key Features
1. Calcium is completely water-soluble, with high concentrations, making it easily absorbed by crops. With a calcium content exceeding 16%, it provides a calcium supplement for crops.
2. Calcium hydrogen phosphite has good water solubility. Although its solubility is not particularly high, it fully meets the requirements of fertilizers, especially water-soluble fertilizers. After adding adjuvants, it can be compounded with phosphorus-containing fertilizers without precipitation. However, the type and amount of ion retainers or ion stabilizers significantly impact the effectiveness of compound fertilizers. 3. Its 60% trivalent phosphorus content has a strong bactericidal effect, significantly inhibiting various fungal and bacterial diseases. It can strengthen crop resistance and enhance defenses against pests and diseases.
4. Calcium phosphate has a slow-release, long-lasting effect, making it a long-lasting phosphorus and calcium supplement. Its redox process involves a large amount of charge transfer, inhibiting, disrupting, and interfering with the cellular functions of harmful microorganisms.
5. This green fertilizer and fungicide complex decomposes into calcium phosphate, making it a residue-free, pollution-free, and harmless green fertilizer fungicide, highly regarded internationally.
IV. Storage and Packaging
25 kg/bag. Store in a dry, cool warehouse, avoiding storage with oxidants or strong alkaline chemicals.
Calcium Hydrogen Phosphite is a new fertilizer-type fungicide with good water solubility, strong bactericidal effects, and a green, environmentally friendly, high phosphorus content. It has broad application prospects in cash crops. It can be compounded with trace elements such as boron, zinc, molybdenum, magnesium, and iron to form water-soluble fertilizer.
